Dr. Kaveh Bazargan is an Assistant Professor in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Communications Studies at the Department of Communication Studies, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Allameh Tabataba'i Universityarrow-up-right, Tehran, I.R. of Iran. He is also an expert member in HCI with the International Federation for Information Processing Technical Committee on Human–Computer Interaction (IFIP TC-13arrow-up-right) and the founding chair of the Association for Computing Machinery Special Interest Group on Computer–Human Interaction (ACM SIGCHIarrow-up-right) Iran Chapter. He holds a Ph.D. in HCI, a Master of Advanced Studies in Information Systems from the University of Geneva (UNIGE) and a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne (EPFL). As an academic, he has been involved in HCI and communication studies teaching-learning activities for more than 12 years. In addition, he worked as a professional user researcher in the areas of Communications Research and Sociotechnical Systems Design and Evaluation for over 10 years. Dr. Kaveh Bazargan is committed to building next-generation socio-technical systems and interactive systems that improve both human factors & experiences and organisations success by creating joint values in a highly competitive global context and environment.
