The Faculty of Communication Sciences at Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) is divided into 3 Departments: Department of Communication Studies; Department of Journalism; and Department of Public Relations. There are currently 22 full-time faculty members employed in the Faculty of Communication Sciences. The Faculty of Communication Sciences became independent in 2015 when it was separated from campus of the Faculty of Social Sciences and moved to its present building located at ATU's central campus, Dehkade-e Olampik in Tehran.
